Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY
For individual guest room bookings including Ada, Alfred, Edina and Freda, if you cancel your booking 14 days (or more) prior to your arrival there will be no charge. If cancelled within 14 days of your arrival the full tariff is non-refundable.

For the whole house booking, Roseadale, if you cancel your booking 30 days (or more) prior to your arrival there will be no charge. If cancelled within 30 days of your arrival the full tariff is non-refundable.

For exclusive hire of the whole of Maleny Lodge including Rosedale, Ada, Alfred, Edina and Freda or group bookings of 3 or more units, if you cancel your booking 60 days (or more) prior to your arrival there will be no charge. If cancelled within 60 days of your arrival the full tariff is non-refundable.

If government restrictions are placed on travel due to the impact of Covid-19, we will provide a free change of date to your booking for any bookings made directly with us. All other cancellations will be subject to our normal cancellation policy.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
The Standard check-in time is 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and the room is to be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Early arrivals and late check-outs are at the discretion of management and must be requested at the time of booking.

BOOKING POLICY
Maleny Lodge is an adults-only venue. We hold the right to turn away a booking if a child is in attendance. We do allow children for exclusive hire booking.

For exclusive hire and/or group bookings, you must book directly via Maleny Lodge and not through a third party. Any bookings booked via a third party will be cancelled and rebooked directly.

PAYMENT POLICY
For all individual guest room bookings, full payment is required 14 days prior to your arrival. If payment is not received by the due time, Maleny Lodge reserves the right to cancel the booking. For exclusive hire of Maleny Lodge and/or group bookings full payment is required 60 days prior to your arrival. If payment is not received by the due time, Maleny Lodge reserves the right to cancel the booking.

SECURITY BOND
A security bond of $300 will be held from a valid credit card. Your credit card will only be debited in the event of not adhering to the terms and conditions, damage to the property, equipment, breakages, missing items or if extra cleaning is required at the discretion of management.
For exclusive hire of Maleny Lodge and/or group bookings a security bond of $1000 will be held from a valid credit card. Your credit card will only be debited in the event of not adhering to the terms and conditions, damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required.

HOUSEKEEPING
Bookings for individual guest rooms include daily room servicing Monday-Saturday & exclude Public Holidays. Housekeeping can be arranged in advance on Sundays at an additional charge and subject to staff availability.

SMOKING
Maleny Lodge and the grounds are strictly no smoking including the use of e-cigarettes. Smoking and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited on site and inside any rooms, balconies, common spaces or anywhere on the property. Should you or any other person staying with you be found to be smoking or find traces of smoking in scent or burn marks, Maleny Lodge reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to cancel your booking, in which case, you will be asked to immediately to leave the premises. Any payment which you have made to date under this agreement will not be refunded to you and a minimum cleaning fee of $500 will be charged to the card on file.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our insurance policy and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupant's personal property left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

CHILDREN & PET POLICY
Unfortunately, Maleny Lodge is not suitable for young children or pets due to the delicate nature of our furnishings and the heritage state of the building.

EVENTS & GATHERINGS Events and gatherings can only be held at Maleny Lodge if the whole of Maleny Lodge is booked for exclusive hire.

BEHAVIOUR
We are in a residential area and would ask that you respect our neighbours at all times. Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Disturbance to other guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received the first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund. All music and noise must be turned down by 8 pm and shut off by 10 pm.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES
Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest's visitor will be charged and recouped in full from the guest's credit card or deducted from the guest's refundable deposit. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest's credit card. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if the furniture is not returned to its original location.

COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS
Photoshoots come at an additional fee, they must be organised and agreed upon prior to booking.

BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions: You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests without notice.
